Tell Sen. Chris Dodd to Stand Up to Wall Street

Sen. Christopher Dodd (D-Conn.)The creatures of Wall Street who blindly drove our economy off a cliff are lobbying as hard as ever against real reform.

Late last year, Sen. Christopher Dodd (D-Conn.) proposed a strong financial reform package that would rein in Wall Street and create a federal watchdog agency to make sure fast-talking lenders can no longer rip off consumers and take risks with our economy that could create another financial crisis.

But now Dodd has announced he will retire at the end of 2010. This means he'll no longer be under pressure to raise campaign money from Wall Street lobbyists; he'll free to stand for real reform. Write Sen. Dodd to urge him to stand firm against the financial industry lobbyists.
