Ask your senators and representative to cosponsor the TRADE Act!
The Trade Reform, Accountability, Development and Employment (TRADE) Act is making waves on Capitol Hill. Not only has it earned the support of 131 members of the House of Representatives, but we’ve learned it’s now on the hit list of the top corporate lobby group, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
The Chamber of Commerce is on a mission to halt the bill’s impressive momentum, including by spreading misinformation about the TRADE Act.
But just last week, Senator Sherrod Brown introduced the Senate version of the TRADE Act (S. 2821).
The TRADE Act makes clear that Congress is in line with the American public’s expectation that the Obama administration deliver on the President’s many campaign commitments for real trade reform.
Write your senators and representative today to discover if they stand with the Chamber of Commerce for more job- and environment-killing trade policies. Urge them to stand up for us and replace the failed model by cosponsoring the TRADE Act.
