Tell Congress to Stop the Peru NAFTA Expansion

Using the form below, or your own personalized version, please send a letter to Congress.

The Peru “Free Trade” Agreement is a NAFTA expansion that lacks enforceable labor rights, will continue the outsourcing of good U.S. jobs, threatens Peru's environmentally sensitive Amazon basin, and limits Congress’ authority to decide if giving control of port services to foreign corporations serves the interest of our national security.

Although public pressure forced the Peru FTA from the docket during the lame-duck session of the 109th Congress after the November elections, the Bush administration is looking to force a vote on the deal in the new Congress.

Your voice is the only way to make a real difference! Please let your representatives know your concerns about this trade agreement. This form will send the letter to your Representative and to both of your Senators.
