We’re organizing a “NO PERU NAFTA” lobby day for Wednesday, November 15th here in DC. Can you come?
Come join members of the Citizens Trade Campaign, AFL-CIO, Change to Win, the Student Trade Justice Campaign, the American Friends Service Committee and health, faith and small farm groups from around the country in lobbying Congress to stop the Lame-Duck vote on the Peru NAFTA expansion.
You don't have to be an expert, we'll get you trained up!
Where: Briefings are at Washington City Church of the Brethren, 337 North Carolina Ave., SE.
When: Wednesday November 15th, 2006.
8:30am: Early Bird Briefing for DC-area folks with AM Meetings
(Complimentary Bagels and Coffee included)
11:30am: “State of Play” Briefing for out-of-town folks
12:30pm-2pm: Lunch on your own in Congressional Office Buildings (a key part of the strategy)
2pm-5pm: Meetings with individual Congress members
