Tell Congress: No more Bush NAFTA Expansion!
The Peru, Colombia, and Panama “Free Trade” Agreements are NAFTA expansions that lack enforceable labor rights, will continue the outsourcing of good U.S. jobs, threaten the environmentally sensitive Amazon basin, and limit Congress’ authority to decide if giving control of port services to foreign corporations serves the interest of our national security.
Although public pressure forced the Peru FTA from the docket during the lame-duck session of the 109th Congress after the November elections, the Bush administration is looking to force a vote on both of these deals in the new Congress.
Your voice is the only way to make a real difference! Please let your representatives know your concerns about these trade agreements. This form will send the letter to your Representative and to both of your Senators.
