Ban Congressional Insider Trading

Tell Congress to Pass the STOCK Act

Insider trading is illegal. It is for ordinary Americans, anyway.

But, appallingly, the laws against insider trading have never been applied to members of Congress and their staffs.

Considering the frequent meetings between corporate lobbyists and congressional members, this circumstance is ripe for corruption.

The “Stop Trading On Congressional Knowledge” (STOCK) Act would make it clear that Congress is subject to the same laws against insider trading that apply to the rest of America.

Members of Congress are supposed to represent the public, not stuff their pocketbooks.

Urge Congress to pass a strong STOCK Act.
