Attend the San Antonio Sustainability Summit

Make Reducing Greenhouse Gas Emissions Part of the Conversation

The San Antonio Office of Sustainability is hosting the San Antonio Sustainability Summit to share information, inspire action in the community and get ideas from people like you.

San Antonio’s SA Tomorrow initiative includes a Sustainability Plan — but that plan doesn’t include goals for reducing greenhouse gas emissions that are responsible for climate change.

Given that climate change is the greatest threat facing our planet, that’s a big missing piece.

The San Antonio Sustainability Summit will offer opportunities to express your desire for a San Antonio Climate Action Plan to the city officials that would be in charge of developing such a plan. There’s truly nothing quite as impactful as showing up in person to voice your opinions.

WHEN: Tuesday, November 1, 5-8 p.m.
WHERE: Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center Grotto (900 E. Market St.)

Kaiba White from Public Citizen’s Texas office will be at the summit and would be happy to share insight about her experience helping to develop a Community Climate Plan in Austin.
