Sign the Petition to Put We the People Back In Charge of Howard County’s Elections
Across Maryland, corporate and mega-donor money has way too much influence in our elections — affecting who can run for office, the issues that are debated, who wins and, ultimately, the public policy made.
Howard County voters passed “Question A” last fall to establish an innovative alternative to pay-to-play politics — called small-donor matching — to address this problem head-on.
A new bill — CB30 — would finalize the small-donor matching program and make this commensense reform a reality, enabling candidates to run for office and win without taking mega-contributions from special interests.

I’m in for small-donor matching in Howard County! I support empowering We The People in Howard County’s elections, and having Maryland serve as a model for the rest of the country in reclaiming a government truly of, by and for the people.
