Stop Oncor’s Attack on Solar Energy

Ask Your City Council to Oppose Regressive Anti-Solar Fees

Oncor has proposed a discriminatory new fee that would be imposed only on residential customers using solar in their homes.

The company offers no detailed justification for levying their proposed fee, instead relying on theories that have been disproved time and time again.

Oncor is the company that owns the electric wires and other physical infrastructure for north Texas, much of east Texas, the I-35 corridor down to Round Rock and Pflugerville, and the Midland/Odessa area. This includes 402 cities in 91 Texas counties, accounting for nearly a third of the state’s area.

One hundred seventy-six of the cities in the Oncor service area are part of two coalitions that have intervened in the rate case. We’re working to get those coalitions to oppose the proposed anti-solar fees. And we need your help.
