Tell Congress Not to Repeal the New Rule to Hold Big Banks Accountable

Thanks to a new rule from the U.S. Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), Big Banks can no longer skirt accountability for cheating, conning, defrauding and plundering consumers.

But less than two weeks after the rule was issued, conservatives in Congress are already working to repeal this crucial consumer protection.

You can help protect this rule by calling your representative in Congress before tomorrow’s vote.

It takes just a minute or two. And don’t worry, you won’t have to debate policy with anybody!

Here’s how easy it is:

1. Call the U.S. Capitol Switchboard (202) 224-3121 to be connected with your U.S. House of Representatives member.

2. Tell the staffer that answers the phone: “I am calling to ask my representative to save the new Consumer Financial Protection Bureau rule. Consumers need more protection from Big Banks, not less.”
