EVENT POSTPONED DUE TO WEATHER CONCERNS: Rally & Lobby for the 28th Amendment for Free and Fair Elections, Annapolis
On January 21, 2010, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled in Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission that corporations have a First Amendment right to spend as much money as they want to promote or defeat candidates. Leading up to the fourth anniversary of the ruling, people across the country are organizing to protest this Supreme Court ruling and are calling for a constitutional amendment that would ensure democracy is for people, not for corporations.
