Outraged citizens have pledged
To take to the streets!

On our Pledge to Protest petition, activists across the nation took to the streets on September 9.

We're in the planning stages for protests on decision day if the Supreme Court decides to allow unlimited corporate money in politics. Sign the
pledge to protest to receive updates on the Don't Get Rolled campaign.

Pledged Street Actions on September 9, 2009:

Washington, D.C.: Picket/demonstration on the sidewalk in front of the U.S. Supreme Court.

Austin, Texas: Protest on the south steps of the Capitol in Austin. Gather at 10:30 a.m. (CDT), protest begins at 11 a.m. Satirical "Corporations Are People Too" protest will also be held.

Boise, Idaho: Protesting and gathering Pledges to Protest in the park in front of the Capitol Building at 4:30 p.m (MDT). on the northeast corner of 8th St. and Bannock St.

Pittsburgh, Pa.: Thomas Merton Center is hosting a screening of the film "The Corporation" at Your Inner Vagabond, 4130 Butler St. with discussion to follow.

Mesa, Ariz.: Protest at Bank of America building, 63 West Main St. at 10 a.m. (MDT).

Durham, N.C.: "Duke Street protest site near Brightleaf across from Alvias."

Sandfly, Ga: "I'm planning on a protest in Justice Thomas' hometown of Sandfly GA."

Granite Bay, Calif: "Demonstrate in front of my Congressman's local office."

San Jose, Calif: "We'll organize a demonstration."

Madison, Wis.: Protest march being planned.

Syracuse, N.Y.: Protest being planned.

Hamilton, N.Y.: Protest being planned.

New Paltz, N.Y.: Protest being planned.

Houston, Texas: "I will get together with some friends and get creative! We'll stage a mock debate between a 'corporate candidate' and a 'people's candidate'  or a race down Main Street between 'candidates' covered with corporate logos (like racecars)."

Minneapolis, Minn.: "Getting in the streets!"
