President Obama: Include a Wall Street Tax in Your Budget!

Show the GOP How to Rein in Wall Street’s Recklessness While Raising Billions in Revenue

President Obama will soon to release his proposed budget for the U.S. government.

Urge the president to include one policy that would simultaneously rein in Wall Street’s recklessness while raising billions in revenue that can be used to strengthen the middle and working class and fund important government programs.

Sign the petition to President Obama:

We, the undersigned, call on President Barack Obama to include a Wall Street Tax in his proposed budget for the U.S. government. A minuscule high roller fee of 0.1 percent, such as proposed by U.S. Representative Chris Van Hollen (D-Md.), can raise billions in needed revenue while reducing some of the most dangerous and volatile high-speed trading on Wall Street.
