Corporate Lobbyists Have No Business Making Government Policy on Behalf of Their Former Clients

Donald Trump’s ethics executive order prohibits government officials who formerly worked as lobbyists from working on the same issues they worked on as lobbyists in the previous two years.

But we found three dozen cases where this prohibition appears to have been violated, with waivers granted in only six of the 36 instances.
